I've had good service at other post offices, so why is the Castle Rock post office delivery so amazingly incompetent? When it comes to package delivery I now ask vendors to use UPS or FedEx, but please don't ship it through the Castle Rock post office! If I could give zero stars to Castle Rock's post office, I would.

I'm a small business owner who visits here 3-4 times per month. The service is always great, their employees are incredibly helpful. I agree that USPS isn't always perfect but this is the best location I've been to.

I've had a different experience than the other reviewers. I find that no matter how busy this office is, they always expedite the line well. I've never had to spend more than 5-10min here even during the holidays. I have a business online, so I'm here a lot. Friendly service as well. Thanks!

They hire temps to sort and deliver mail; that explains many of the issues I have had to deal with. The regular, full time employees are kind and competent. The manager? Maybe not so much. Many ongoing problems with mail handling at this PO, in my experience.

I have had mixed results at this location. On the positive side, one of their counter staff was extremely polite and helpful in working through problems caused by their delivery person. On the other hand, I was to receive an item delivered by registered mail which their tracking service said had been delivered and signed for at my address (I did not receive it). I opened a lost item case on the USPS website and asked to see the signed for slip, and could get no response other than their saying they looked for the item and could not find it. Particularly after reading some of the reviews on this site about mis-delivery, I am sure they delivered it to the wrong address and a dishonest person kept it (or a dishonest person in the post office took it). If I could have seen the signed slip, I would have immediately known if the signature was bogus. But their "thorough" review and search for the lost item did not include even this basic step. Very poor handling of a customer problem, amounting to a failure on basic customer service.
